We are proposing to make the film ‘The Reunion: M.A.F.” – a modern Agatha Christie style ‘Whodunnit’.
This feature film will have high production values, great singular location and the all important star studied cast to keep within all the usual traditions of a whodunnit story.
This genre of movie has had a huge revival recently and is particularly on trend at the moment and so we wish to capitalise on this.
Royal Flush Productions has already sourced a beautiful location for ‘The Reunion: Murder Amongst Friends”,
SYNOPSIS
‘The Reunion: Murder Among Friends’ In a world where social media connections blur the lines between friends and acquaintances, six individuals receive a cryptic invitation to a long-awaited school reunion via Facebook. As they gather at the secluded venue, the atmosphere is initially tepid, with awkward small talk and forced smiles masking an underlying tension. But as the night unfolds, they get locked in, making it chillingly clear that something sinister is afoot.
The guests, realising they are the sole attendees to the reunion, soon question everything: Who sent the invitations? And why?
As old wounds are reopened and buried secrets come to light, alliances shift and suspicions run rampant from unrequited love to simmering resentment. But when a shocking murder rocks the gathering, the façade of civility shatters, plunging the group into a whirlwind of chaos and betrayal. Amidst the chaos, one unexpected guest stands apart from the rest: a detective from the metropolitan police, unwittingly drawn into the deadly game unfolding before him. With a keen eye for detail and a relentless determination to uncover the truth, he races against the clock to unravel the tangled web of lies and deception before another life is lost.

Charlotte, 47 – Could only be described as a cougar. She is out to find a young rich boyfriend and nothing will stop her finding it. Except her murder.
Martin, 46 – Complete dark horse, single and although on social media it doesn’t say much about him. It’s clear from the outset he has secrets and that he likes to play his cards close to his chest. He is good looking and Charlotte clearly has eyes for him
Robert, 46 – Keen cyclist and foreign exchange broker, had some big dramas in his life but has managed to put all that behind him and come out on top. His past with Charlotte is known by all.
Emma, 47 – The once ‘plain-Jane’ brought up in a christian household, is now all about the good times and glamour. But, could she kill Charlotte, a woman that doesn’t seem to have any values.
Mark, 47 – The hippie, makes his money from tarot reading as he believes it’s a way to help people and their problems. He has a secret though and of course it involves Charlotte too.
Lucy, 47 – The soccer mum. At a school she was Charlotte’s best friend and copied her on everything she did until one dark day which drove an unrepairable wedge between the two. Could Lucy be looking for revenge after 20 long years.
Both Lucy and Mark have brought their respective spouses to the party too, Barry and Amanda but these two are no better and have just as many skeletons in their closet for our mystery detective to work out.
Every ‘whodunnit’ film to now has had a cast of famous faces. This is because every character is key, with no one person being the lead and everyone supporting each other to tell the tale. ‘The Reunion: MAF” will be no different. However the unique nature of this movie is that it’s a cast of eight characters only, As they are all school friends they are all around the same age.
Recent releases to the whodunnit genre, One of which was Knives Out which received rave reviews and became a box office success. The biggest expense in a film like this is the cast and the location but we are again confident that we have a beautiful mansion and can obtain the right cast for the right price.
