SCROOGE’S CURSED CAROL
In this harrowing retelling of the Christmas classic, Ebenezer Scrooge is not the man Charles Dickens wrote about.
This Scrooge meets a gruesome end only to awaken in a hellish purgatory. There, he is condemned to face monstrous spirits in a relentless battle for survival, confronting the horrors of his past and the dark reality of his eternal damnation in a world where redemption is a mere illusion..
Blending the heartwarming nostalgia of the classic ‘A Christmas Carol’ this film takes a leaf out of the ‘Brightburn’ film narrative, by turning a beloved tale into a chilling horror story that redefines everything the viewer knew of the story up till now.
Our film will therefore be part of the emerging trend of reimagining classics and traditionally non-horror stories in a darker, more horror-oriented context, highlighting both its creative novelty and its potential for success.
